Richard Branson: I tried drugs with my son

Virgin boss also had steamy romp on a plane

Entrepreneur Richard Branson has revealed how he tried drugs with his son.

The 57-year-old Virgin tycoon says he enjoyed a smoke with young Sam, now 21, while on holiday.

‘I have smoked cannabis,’ says Richard – who also admits to trying cocaine, ecstasy and Viagra.

‘I mean, I went with my son on his gap year, for God’s sake. We learned to surf and had some nights where we laughed our heads off for eight hours.’

Sir Richard also admits to having sex with a married woman in a jet toilet when he was 19.

‘It was every man’s dream, to be honest,’ he tells GQ.

‘The problem with plane loos generally is that they are very small, and the acrobatics can’t take too long because there’s no room and people start banging on the door.’
