Steve Martin surprises guests by getting married to Anne Stringfield in a secret ceremony

Steve Martin wanted his wedding to be so secret, he didn't even tell the guests.

The comedian got hitched to girlfriend Anne Stringfield, 35, in a surprise ceremony at the weekend.

Friends – including Tom Hanks and Diane Keaton – were simply invited for a ‘party’ at 61-year-old’s Steve’s LA home - and only found out about the nuptials after they arrived.

And Steve kept well-wishers grinning by sporting an Inspector Clouseau moustache from the Pink Panther movies.

It was Steve's second wedding. His 8-year marraige to actress Victoria Tennant ended in 1994.
