Jessica Simpson wants Nick Lachey back

Singer reportedly still in love with ex-hubbie

Jessica Simpson is said to be desperate to get back together with former husband Nick Lachey.

But he's just not interested in rekindling his relationship with Jess, 27.

‘She wants to be the girl that Nick fell in love with again,’ claims a friend.

‘She’s been calling Nick all the time – at one point he had to change his telephone number. She now can’t contact him even if she wants to.’

The Hollywood couple - who starred in reality TV series Newlyweds - divorced in November 2005 after three years of marriage.

And Nick, 33, has since found love with TV presenter Vanessa Minnillo.

‘What Vanessa and I have is real,' he enthuses. 'It’s ours. Nobody can touch that.’

It’s time to move on, Jess.
