Big Brother 7 star's anorexia said to have caused the illness
Thursday, 26 July 2007
Reality TV star Nikki Grahame has been diagnosed with osteoporosis, a condition that makes bones fragile and more likely to fracture.
The disease is rare amongst women under the age of 50 but 25-year-old Nikki's health has been affected by her struggle with an eating disorder.
'Years of self-neglect have caused internal problems that can't be undone,' a friend reveals. 'Anorexia has left her bones frail and vulnerable.'
Nikk had scans at Mount Vernon Hospital in Middlesex which revealed the condition.
Another pal says: 'Doctors have warned Nikki that her illness has placed a massive strain on her bones and she needs to get help or face ending up in a wheelchair when she’s 40.’
