He thanks Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes for throwing welcome party

Fulfilling his promise to keep us posted with his family's move to LA, David Beckham has updated his online blog.

The footie ace, 32, expresses his appreciation for the kindness of Tom Cruise, 45, and Katie Holmes, 28, who threw him and Posh a lavish bash at the weekend.

‘I’d like to say a big thank you to a couple of our good friends out here who threw an amazing party for Victoria and myself on Sunday night,’ Becks writes.

‘It really was a fantastic evening and meeting so many people made us both feel incredibly welcome.’

David also adds that he and wife Victoria, 33, are ‘settling in nicely’ in LA.
