UPDATE: Lindsay Lohan: I am innocent

She says drugs were not hers

Lindsay Lohan has spoken out after her DUI arrest yesterday - and she claims she’s innocent of the drink and drug charges.

The 21-year-old was charged with for drink driving and possessing cocaine on Tuesday morning US time.

But now Lindsay claims the drugs were not hers.

‘Yes. I am innocent...did not do drugs they're not mine,’ she writes in an email to US TV show Access Hollywood.

The troubled actress also claims she was not chasing her assistant's mother in the car when she was arrested.

‘I was almost hit by my assistant Tarin's mom,’ she claims.
