Billy Elliot star couldn't face stripping off for sex scene

You'd think that Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell's most embarrassing memory would be wearing tights and being called 'Ballerina Boy', but filming his first sex scene was far worse.

Jamie, 21, admits he was so nervous about getting naked in front of the crew for new film Hallam Foe, he begged to hide his tackle.

‘I asked the director before filming if I could cover my intimate parts with a sock, but he said no,’ the actor reveals.

‘For all the people there it was just another movie scene, but I was horribly nervous.’

And Jamie is relieved to have the raunchy scene under his belt.

‘Sex is incredibly awkward,’ he tells The Sun. ‘There's always that moment when you know it's going to happen - and you still have to take your pants off.’
