Prince Charles turns down Doctor Who

Producers want Tony Blair for show now

Prince Charles has declined an offer to appear in Doctor Who.

The 58-year-old was approached about a guest role in the BBC show's Xmas special - but the heir to the throne obviously had better things to do.

‘There was talk that the scriptwriters wanted to turn Prince Charles into a Dalek or a Cyberman but the Prince thought better of it,’ an insider tells the Daily Mirror.

‘Maybe they should ask Camilla instead.’

Producers now want ex-PM Tony Blair to replace Charles.
