Amy Winehouse wants to have a baby, says her dad

Mitch is keen to become a grandfather

Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch is already planning for the birth of his first grandchild.

Now that daughter Amy, 23, has tied the knot with hubbie Blake Fielder-Civil, he reckons the pair will soon start making babies.

‘They are thinking of having children soon. She is all caught up in her career at the moment but she often talks about wanting a baby,' Mitch tells Celebs On Sunday.

'I can’t wait to be a grandad, so hopefully Amy or her brother will let me be one soon. I’ve even joked that, when she has a baby, I’ll kidnap it as I’ll love it so much!’

Mitch doesn't want his daughter to employ anyone to look after her offspring, he's happy to do all the nappy-changing.

'Her mum Janis and me can fight over who looks after him or her,' he says. 'I wouldn’t want Amy to have a nanny, we’ll give her all the help she needs.’

Er, looking at his pic of Amy taken a couple of days ago, we don't think she's pregnant yet...
