Westlife want to battle Spice Girls

They'll release album on same day

Westlife and the Spice Girls battled each other in the charts 7 years ago, and now the boys want to wage war again.

Coast To Coast outsold Forever back then and the Irish band are confident they'll triumph this time.

The lads are already in the studio recording their new LP.

And they plan to release it on the same day as the new Spice Girls album,

‘They’ve pencilled in a release date for later this year but will move it depending on what the girls do,’ a source tells the People.

‘They think it will be a good marketing ploy to recreate the great battle of 2000 and are sure they will get the No 1 spot.’

It could be a chance for the girls to get revenge. Go, Spices!
