Tom Cruise throws party for David and Victoria Beckham

Stars come out to welcome Beckhams to LA

David and Victoria Beckham were welcomed to LA on Sunday with a glamorous party thrown by new pal Tom Cruise.

The event was organised by Tom, 45, and wife Katie Holmes, 28, with help from Will Smith, 38, and Jada Pinkett Smith, 35.

Posh's fellow Spice Girl Mel B was on the star-spangled guest list, along with Demi Moore, Eva Longoria, Jim Carrey, and Little Britain’s Matt Lucas.

The exclusive event was held at the Museum Of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary wing.

Victoria, 33, wore a black mini-dress, while hubby David, 32, was decked out in a sharp grey suit.

And it seems the footie ace has already converted Hollywood’s A-listers into soccer fans.

The day before the lavish party, Katie Holmes and Eva Longoria were both just two of the stars at LA Galaxy's arena to watch Becks' debut match.
