Madonna plans to make mob flick

She wants to produce a film about ex-lover

With her film company Maverick, Madonna wants to make a flick about ex-lover Chris Paciello, a 'night-club investor' with links to the New York Mafia.

Madge, 48, embarked on a 2-year romance with charismatic street-smart Chris in the early '90s.

It ended when he was jailed for murder following a burglary in which a woman was shot dead by an accomplice.

But now it’s emerged that the superstar and her ex have been meeting up.

‘He led Madonna astray in 1992/1993 and most of her friends were unhappy about their relationship at the time,’ a source tells the Sun.

‘She has met him three times to thrash out a deal — first when she went to LA for the Academy Awards, then twice in New York, including her most recent trip there last month.’

Madonna is said to be intrigued by the underworld.

‘There’s no romance,’ says the source. ‘She is desperately keen to produce a film based on the book Mob Over Miami about him.

‘She has always been fascinated by tough guys and loves his story.’
