Was Lee Mead’s first night in Joseph sabotaged?

Andrew Lloyd Webber wants to know why the show was halted

Lee Mead stars in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat

Andrew Lloyd Webber wants to know exactly what went wrong on the opening night of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

He’s fuming that a curtain came down just 30 minutes into Tuesday night’s West End premiere starring Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead.

The show was halted, and the audience had to wait 10 minutes while the problem was fixed.

Andrew, 59, is said to have told a pal that he overheard 2 people discussing plans to sabotage the show.

The allegations have sparked concern that some of the crew are unhappy over a pay and conditions.

And police may even be called in to investigate.

But Any Dream Will Do winner Lee, 26, dismissed the claims.

‘These things do happen in theatre and it’s about how you deal with it,’ he tells The Sun.
