She’s cancelled a string of gigs to rest up, but that didn’t stop Amy Winehouse’s first performance in almost 2 weeks from being a horror show.
The 23-year-old fluffed her lines and stumbled through her performance at the Eden Project in Cornwall.
And now there are fresh concerns for the diva, who it was hoped was getting over her 'exhaustion'.
After 2 songs on Tuesday night, Amy suddenly dashed off the stage.
When she came back on, she was close to tears and repeatedly hit herself on the head with her mic.
‘Everyone thought Amy was acting rather strangely,’ says a fan.
‘She was wobbling around the stage, muttering to herself, swearing and slapping herself in the face. It was as though she was trying to snap herself out of something.’
At one point, Amy even spat into the crowd.
To cap off the eccentric performance, the troubled singer walked off halfway through the final song.
‘Amy was annoyed with herself,’ her spokesman tells the Daily Mirror.
‘She is a bit ring-rusty after not having played for a while and was upset after making a few mistakes in the set.’
Pull yourself together, girl.
