Pete Doherty performs at birthday for £100

Babyshambles star performs special gig

Pete Doherty made one fan's year when he accepted £100 to play at her birthday party.

The Babyshambles frontman performed a special set for the un-named enthusiast's family and friends.

‘The birthday girl’s dad told him that he’d give him £100 to perform at her party,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘Pete was flattered and happy to oblige. He turned up and played his big hits. Everyone had a great time.’

But now the 28-year-old's been inundated with hundreds of requests from desperate fans who want him to play at private functions.

Pete is currently on tour with his band in Europe.
