Kelly Brook: I was told to diet to look like a boy!

She slams the modelling agents who told her to lose weight

‘I’m just glad the guys don’t go for skinny girls with Hollywood size 0 figures.

'When I was modelling, agents would take one look at me and say: “If you lost a few pounds and looked more like a boy, we could do something for you.”

‘That attitude’s as wrong today as it was then.'

‘I’ve never been on a crash diet or gone binge drinking and I’ve never taken drugs. All the make-up teams on film sets tell me that the best thing for the skin is lots of sleep and water and not to put too many chemicals in your hair. My big treat is having a massage.’

‘Being in love is good for you, but you can’t plan it. I’m in love with Billy Zane.

'Billy’s Greek and the Greeks say that love’s an illness. When you get lovesick, everything else disappears and you can’t see anything wrong in the relationship. I’m sure being in love is the equivalent of being under a spell. It makes your eyes and skin look good.'
