Cops stop Pete Doherty hours after leaving rehab

He’s fined for chucking rubbish

Troubled rocker Pete Doherty was in trouble with police again yesterday — just hours after leaving rehab.

The Babyshambles singer was pulled over by officers after he was spotted chucking rubbish out of a minicab window in Regent’s Park.

It was less than 24 hours after he checked out of the Detox 5 clinic in Harrogate, North Yorks.

Pete, 28, was quizzed by the officers at around 12.20pm yesterday, and he was then fined for littering.

‘He looked pretty sheepish, like he was embarrassed to get done for such yobbish antics,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘He scrabbled around in his pockets to find papers that could prove who he was.

‘The policeman gave him a stern ticking-off, then issued him with the fine. It looked like he got a severe warning.’

A police spokeswoman confirmed Pete has been fined £100.
