Armed burglars escape with laptops, TVs and sports car

Kerry Katona is traumatised after being robbed by masked burglars at her 1.5million home in Wilmslow last night.

The gang made off with two laptops, two gaming machines, a 42in plasma TV, jewellery and the couple's blue BMW M5 sports car, registration WFO 6KMM.

'She is in a terrible state,' says publicist Max Clifford.

'When I spoke to her this morning she was in floods of tears and absolutely distraught.

'Luckily they weren't hurt, but Kerry was held at knifepoint and the robbers threatened to kill them.

'It was such a horrible thing to happen.'

The three men, armed with a sledgehammer, crowbar and large kitchen knife, broke in around midnight.

They held Kerry and baby daughter Heidi in a room downstairs while they walked husband Mark Croft, 36, through the house looking for things to steal.

The thieves escaped half an hour later, also taking the couple's mobile phones.
