Breaking news: Kerry Katona held hostage

Family held by armed burglars who threatened to kill them

Kerry Katona and her baby daughter were held hostage by armed robbers at their £1.5million home in Wilmslow last night.

Kerry, 26, her 5-month-old baby Heidi Elizabeth, and husband Mark Croft were surprised by masked burglars.

The three-strong gang, armed with a sledgehammer, crowbar and large kitchen knife, broke in around midnight.

They held Kerry and Heidi in a room downstairs while they walked Mark through the house looking for things to steal, reports Sky News.

The robbers left half an hour later with goods worth thousands of pounds and took the couple's blue BMW M5 sports car, registration WFO 6KMM.

'Luckily they weren't hurt, but Kerry was held at knifepoint and the robbers threatened to kill them,' says publicist Max Clifford.
