Actress has to live with a ruined design

Sienna matches her Ray-Ban sunnies to her red dress

Sienna Miller has revealed how her first tattoo went awry after the tattooist made a mistake.

The actress, now 25, was 18 - and a little tipsy - when she decided it was a good idea to get 3 stars inked on her shoulder.

But the design went wrong when the artist felt a tickle in his throat.

‘It was Valentine’s Day in New York and I thought it would be fun,’ Sienna tells US chat host David Letterman.

‘I’d had a few glasses of wine. It was meant to be the outline of a star but the guy coughed so he had to colour it in.’
