Jade Goody: Miscarriage is God’s punishment

She believes she lost baby because of her behaviour on Celeb Big Brother

Jade Goody fears her miscarriage last month was ‘God’s punishment’ for her treatment of Shilpa Shetty on Celeb Big Brother.

The reality TV star lost boyfriend Jack Tweed's child when she was 12 weeks pregnant.

‘After the miscarriage I did ask, “Why is all this happening?”,' says Jade, 26.

'I thought it was God’s punishment for something I’d done.'

The mum-of-two says the experience nearly broke her spirit.

‘I tortured myself asking why,' Jade admits. 'It was a dark time but I had to put on a brave face for my sons.’

Because of the public backlash after CBB, Jade fears people may think the miscarriage was a publicity stunt.

‘Last week a woman hugged me in the street,’ she says. ‘I just broke down. But then I get worried people will think I’m crying for sympathy.’
