Posh and Becks to star in Extras

The Beckhams sign up to appear on Ricky Gervais show

Victoria and David Beckham have agread to appear in a final two-part special of the Ricky Gervais comedy Extras.

Posh, 33, and Becks, 32, will join a long list of stars including Madonna, George Michael and film star Clive Owen.

The couple are said to be huge fans of the show and accepted the offer after a personal call from Ricky, 46.

A friend of the comedian's says that Ricky 'is over the moon' after getting confirmation from Posh and Becks.

The two episodes will be shown on BBC1 this Christmas and on the HBO network in the US.

The friend tells the Sunday Mirror: 'Ricky is still discussing how the Beckhams will appear. But they have indicated there is no limit to how silly they will look.'
