Welsh actress Catherine Zeta Jones forks out £200 a time on shampoo and conditioner treatments that contain truffles and Beluga caviar.
The fish eggs are said to be flown in from Iran 5 days ahead of her appointments at Hari's beauty salon in South Kensington.
'Catherine discovered the caviar treatment last summer and was astounded by the difference it made to her hair,’ says a source.
The 37-year-old has her hair washed with a truffle-based shampoo, then smeared with the caviar, which is combed through and left to set.
‘The eggs are packed with omega-3 fatty acids necessary for the formation of structural proteins,’ the source tells the Daily Mail.
‘It is these proteins that repair dry and damaged hair and smooth over any split ends.’
Yeah, but you could buy some great shoes for that kind of money and just buy a bottle of conditioner from Boots.
