Katie and Suri join celebrity crowd to see Becks play
Monday, 23 July 2007
He has a dodgy ankle but that didn't stop David Beckham making his debut for new team LA Galaxy on Saturday.
Becks only played for 16 minutes and his side lost 1-0 to Chelsea, but the 27,000-strong crowd enjoyed every second.
Victoria and sons Brooklyn and Cruz sat watching in the stadium with Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise.
Also enjoying the game were Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
We didn't spot Friends star Jennifer Aniston but she's reported to have bought a season ticket so she can watch Goldenballs do his stuff.
'It was nice to get out there and kick a soccer ball again,' David said after the match. 'I haven't trained in weeks.'
