Arctic Monkey Alex Turner uses cheesy chat-up on Alexa Chung

Singer woos TV presenter at T In The Park

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner chatted-up Alexa Chung at T In The Park - and they were soon making sweet music together.

Alex, 21, met Popworld presenter Alexa, 23, at a karaoke party and impressed her with the cheesiest of lines.

‘Come back to my tour bus and I’ll teach you how to play acoustic guitar,’ he’s reported to have successfully suggested.

‘Alex and Alexa were all over each other backstage,’ an onlooker says.

‘He was pulling out all the stops to impress her. She was lapping it up and giggling at his jokes.

‘Alex whisked her off to a quiet corner on a bench and cuddled her as he taught her some chords.’

‘Then they walked off into the night together.’
