Britney's mystery date

Singer is snapped with mature escort

Britney Spears went to see the stage show Wicked at Pantages Theatre in LA with a mature-looking guy on Thursday night.

Her mystery escort is believed to be 38-year-old rehab counsellor John Sundahl.

The wealthy property tycoon has denied a romance with the mum-of-two but they appear to enjoy each other's company.

'John's smitten with Britney,' a source told MSNBC. 'I've never seen him act so ridiculous with a girl.'

A recovering alcoholic, John is the chairman of 25-year-old Britney's Alcoholics Anonymous chapter in Los Angeles.

He's reported to have told the singer when they first met, 'If you fall off the wagon, I don’t think you’ll live.'
