Britney apologises for umbrella attack
Britney Spears has said she's sorry for attacking an American photographer with her umbrella.
On her website, the 25-year-old explains that she was just practising for an acting role.
Brit’s hand-written apology reads: 'I want to apologize for the past incedent (sic) with the umberella (sic).
'I was preparing a character for a possible movie role where the husband doesn't play his part so they swap places.
'Unfortunately I didn't get the part, I'm sorry I got a lil' carried away with my role.’
