Singer professes his love for Jesus in new video

Troubled singer Robbie Williams seems to have turned to Christianity in a bid to get over his troubles.

The pop heartthrob has posted a film of himself professing his newfound love for Jesus.

In the video, Robbie, 33, is seen sitting in a darkened room and talks eerily about his faith.

‘God came in the sunshine, he showed me a lifeline,’ he sings in the video, reports the Daily Mirror.

‘What a day, Jesus really died for me. Yeah, Jesus really tried for me.’

The impromptu song is the first time he's publicly spoken of a belief in God.

But he's been lovin' angels for years...
