It’s already bursting with talent, but organisers of this Saturday's Live Earth gig want to get Paul McCartney on-board as well.
The ex-Beatle, 65, is locked in last-minute talks with organiser Al Gore, 59, about joining the Wembley Stadium concert.
The ex-US Vice President approached him after hearing Macca had been raving about his film An Inconvenient Truth.
‘It's true that Paul has been asked to take part,’ says a source.
‘He said that the cause is very close to his heart.’
Live Earth - consisting of 8 concerts on 7 continents – will feature performances from Madonna, Joss Stone and Razorlight.
Sir Paul closing the show with Hey Jude would be fab.
