Sarah Cox: I still binge drink

But these days a bender needs careful planning

Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox admits that she still loves a good drinking session - but she has to plan them in advance now she's mum to daughter Lola, 3.

'I do still go on benders but I have to plan it weeks ahead,' she days.

'I have to do an intensive course of vitamins, not to mention sort out childcare.'

Sara, 33, who split with husband of four years Jon Carter in 2005, says she's definitely toned it down - and rarely goes on the town with bezzy mate Zoe Ball.

'The last time I had a big night out with Zoë, I had my mum with me,' she recalls. 'It was at an awards do and afterwards we said, "All back to Zoë’s".'
