Beverley Knight: I can't find Mr Perfect

But singer's not too fussed

Beverley Knight says her mates are always trying to matchmake for her - but she's happy being single.

The 34-year-old singer split with long-term partner, photographer Calvin Bishop, last year - and her friends have been trying to set her up ever since.

'Everyone's trying to find me Mr Perfect, no one can resist the matchmaker thing,' she tells Celebs On Sunday.

'I've got a couple of really good girlfriends and they're like, "Oh this guy I know really likes you". I'm like "Nah".

'I'm so happy to be single, I love being on my jack. Not because my ex-boyfriend was a nightmare, he wasn't.

'I've realised it's been the best thing to have time to just be Bev.'
