Oops! Princes block Elton John's exit – and his concert finale

Sir Elt didn't play Crocodile Rock or get home on time

Elton John

He’s used to getting his own way and being treated like royalty, but Sir Elton John had to make way for two bigger stars last night.

His final set at the Concert For Diana was cut short because Princes Harry and Wills walked on stage as he was preparing to perform his 1972 hit Crocodile Rock.

‘That was meant to be the big finale, but the Princes came on stage earlier than expected,’ a source tells thelondonpaper.

‘At that point the producers simply decided to order everybody else off the stage.’

We thought the show ended a bit abruptly.

Then, to make matters worse, 60-year-old Elt's limo was stuck in the traffic jam caused as the royal brothers made their exit from the car park.

‘He looked a bit miffed. I don’t suppose he’s used to that sort of delay,’ says one onlooker.

Seems like Sunday night was not alright for Elton.
