Freed Paris Hilton says that being strip-searched in prison was the most traumatic ordeal she's ever gone through.

‘I've never had to do that - take my clothes off in front of someone you don't even know,’ she says. ‘It was the most humiliating experience of my life.'

Umm, has the Simple Life star, 26, forgotten starring in an infamous steamy home movie that was posted on the internet?

Giving her first TV interview, Paris tells US chat show veteran Larry King that she was distraught at being sent back to jail.

‘Going from being so happy at home with my family...then all of a sudden - 10 minutes before the police arrive - I'm yanked out of bed and they're telling me I'm going to get handcuffed and brought back to the courthouse,’ she explains.

‘I had no idea what was going on. I was in complete shock.’
