Lily Allen: I’ll retire by 30

Singer wants to stop working early to make up for lost childhood

Lily Allen

She’s talented enough to have a career that’ll span for years, but Lily Allen is only interested in working till she’s 30.

‘What I’m going to do is work really hard, trying to make as much money as I can, then retire when I’m 30 and have my childhood,’ she explains.

‘I’ll just sit in the country, ride quad bikes all day and have my own paintball course.’

The Smile singer, 22, says she plans to retire from the music business to make up for having to grow up too quickly.

‘I missed out on my childhood and never felt like a kid,’ she tells the Daily Express. ‘I never had friends when I was a kid, never had toys or played with stuff.

‘But I’m going to stop moaning about that and just work hard on my plan.’

Now, that’s a plan.
