Ben Shephard: I love wearing make up

GMTV star thinks he looks pale without it

Ben Shephard has admitted he loves putting on some slap - even when he's not sitting on the GMTV couch.

'Women have kept make up a closely guarded secret for far too long,' he laughs. 'If you've had a late night and are feeling rough, a bit of tinted moisturiser makes you look really healthy.

'My make up artist insists I wear it because I look ill if I haven't been outside in the sun. It's become a staple in the bathroom cabinet.'

And it's not just tinted moisturiser wife Annie has to share with her hubby.

'I moisturise if I have a shave too,' Ben, 32, tells Sunday magazine.

'Other than that I just use wax in my hair.'

Phew! It's good to hear the list doesn't go on, Ben!
