June Sarpong: I want to adopt

But the TV presenter won't be doing an Angelina

June Sarpong has revealed she wants to become a mum - by adopting.

Unlike Angelina Jolie and Madonna, the T4 presenter, 30, insists she'd like to find her kids in the UK.

'I want to adopt two children, but from this country,' she says. 'I'm not against celebrities who adopt from Third World countries, but we mustn't forget the kids that are here.

'There are so many that need homes.'

June's adoption dreams are inspired by her mum, who used to work for the charity Barnardo's.

'They'd have all these kids who were up for adoption. And once they get past four or five, it's near impossible because everyone wants babies,' she says.

'I'd be happy to adopt a toddler or a young child, rather than a baby, and a brother and sister would be good.'

After dating her businessman boyfriend for a year, June says she'd also like to have two children of her own.

'I want to wait until I'm about 35 to have children,' she tells Celebs On Sunday. 'But then you get to 36 or 37 and you have to bash them out.

'The biological clock is one of the greatest injustices in the world.'
