Gorgeous Roxanne tells Now her step-by-step guide to create the perfect tan.

'Matching the shade of your fake tan to your skin tone is key to a realistic tan,' she says. 'I use Sun Self Tanning Lotion Dark Sunsation Instant Tint in Very Dark.

'I start freshly scrubbed with no make-up or deodorant so that my tan goes on streak-free and fades evenly. I keep my hair out of the way by wearing a shower cap.

'The lotion I use appears dark brown instantly, which helps me get even coverage. I use gloves and wash hands straightaway.

'I don't get dressed for at least an hour after applying tanning lotion and leave the residual bronzer on for a good eight hours before showering.

'I use a nourishing moisturiser every day to help prolong my golden brown glow and make it last for a week. I love REN Damask Rose Ramnose Biosaccharide Body Cream.'
