Paul Potts album out in 4 weeks

Paul Potts is hard at work on his first album - due to hit the shops in just 4 weeks' time.

The opera star, 36, is holed up in a studio just a day after returning from his whistlestop tour of the US.

'His success has been unbelievable,' Simon Cowell tells the Daily Mirror. 'He walked down the street and people recognised him.

'The sooner we can get the album out, the better.'

Paul is also due to sing at August's Wembley Community Shield game between Chelsea and Man Utd in front of 90,000 fans.

'I can't believe this is happening,' he says. 'I'm still waiting for someone to pinch me and tell me to wake up.'
