Antonio Banderas: I've been tempted to cheat

Star admits fidelity is hard in Hollywood

Shrek star Antonio Banderas is happily married to Melanie Griffiths - but admits temptation is all around in La-La Land.

The Spanish actor, 46, and Mel, 49, have been together 11 years and, although he's blissfully happy, he's the first to admit he has to fight temptation.

'There are a lot of beautiful, intelligent young actresses around, so it can be very difficult,' he admits.

'Hollywood is an orgasmic place. And when you're young, you've got a lot of sexual power. I had that in the 80s.'

There have been constant rumours about Antonio's fidelity over the years - after all, he met Melanie while still married to his first wife Ana Leza in 1995.

But he maintains he only has eyes for Mel.

'People bet that Melanie and I wouldn't last longer than six months,' Antonio tells Sunday magazine.

'But we both had previous relationships that weren't successful, so we learned from that.'
