Jade Goody was conned out of more than £12,000 by her former babysitter in a cheque scam.
Luke Rustem, 29, cashed 9 cheques of between £500 and £2,200 between February 2005 and April last year, claiming they’d been signed by the 26-year-old BB star.
He initially denied the charges at Chelmsford Crown Court, saying Jade had told him to write the cheques for looking after sons Bobby, now four, and Freddy, two.
But he changed his plea to guilty after a hand-writing expert said it was unlikely that it was her signature on the cheques.
‘I think he is a scumbag,’ the mum-of-two tells The Sun. ‘I trusted him and treated him like a friend. I gave him a job when he had nothing and this is how he repaid me.’
Luke, from Harlow, Essex, will be sentenced on 13 July.
That’ll learn him.
