He’s already making his debut album with Simon Cowell and now Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts could soon be signing a film contract.

The mobile phone salesman from Port Talbot, who arrived in New York yesterday, is being approached by movies bosses who want to make a film about his life.

Paul's rags-to-riches story has captured hearts on both sides of the Atlantic.

’Filmmakers have fallen in love with the “ordinary man story”,' a source tells the Daily Mirror.

'They believe that 36-year-old Paul's life and his struggles with a fairytale ending would make an amazing film.'

We think Little Britain's Matt Lucas would be great as Paul.
