Actress wants Maddox to connect with Cambodian roots
Wednesday, 20 June 2007
Angelina Jolie is keen for adopted son Maddox not to forget his roots and often takes the 5-year-old back to Cambodia.
The Tomb Raider star, 32, and her son walk around barefoot and eat local dishes, including friend insects.
‘When we go to Cambodia, I always say, “Take our shoes off,” and we walk across the rocks,’ she tells thelondonpaper.com. 'Then we go eat a cricket.’
The little boy was the first child Angelina adopted in 2002 when he was just nine months old. He now has two sisters and a brother.
