Newcomer handed a suitcase full of cash

Tonight Big Brother called Jonathan, Carole and Seany into the diary room and told them that they had to nominate a housemate to receive the BB £100,000 prize fund.

They couldn't qualify themselves and they had only a minute to agree on who deserved it.

Laura and Ziggy were both suggested but the trio decided on Liam.

They returned to the house to announce their decision and the 22-year-old tree surgeon from Durham was overwhelmed by the announcement.

(His starsign is Cancer so he would be...)

What the housemates don't know is that the £100,000 prize for the winner of Big Brother remains intact. Liam's prize is an extra stash of cash.

Davina reckons all the girls will all suddenly start fancying the lucky lad but Nicky's obviously already smitten.

Actually, he's looking more attractive to us every minute.
