George Michael is a swinger

Singer chills backstage in his hammock

Popstar George Michael likes to relax by swinging in a hammock underneath the stage before his shows.

The 43-year-old finds gently rocking from side to side very soothing.

‘George uses the hammock to relax and pick up the vibe of the crowd,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘He finds it the best way to focus before he goes on to perform.’

At the Manchester leg of his tour, the crew were left dumbfounded as George swayed away while support act Sophie Ellis-Bextor wowed the crowds directly above him.

Hopefully the crew wake him up before it’s time to go-go on stage.
