Body shock: Jessica Simpson goes from shrimp to shapely

The Dukes of Hazzard star puts on 5lb but loses her man

Jessica Simpson has filled out nicely recently and the Dukes Of Hazzard star loves her new curvy shape.

‘I’ve become really comfortable in who I am and in my skin,’ says Jessica. ‘I’m just feeling beautiful, 5lb heavier.’

After months of trying to hide her weight gain under baggy jackets and oversized dresses, yo-yo dieter Jessica decided to flaunt her curves by stepping out in figure-hugging outfits.

But on-off boyfriend musician John Mayer wasn’t happy – especially when his friends referred to her as his ‘fat girlfriend’ – and he decided to dump her. Nice.

Jessica, 26, isn’t mourning her loss, though (well, who would?), and is ready to move on, curves and all.
