David Beckham had a Father’s Day to remember last night. Real Madrid not only won the Spanish league final, his sons were there to celebrate with him.
Playing his last game for the Spanish club, Becks, 32, was overjoyed that the team picked up their first trophy since he joined them in 2003.
Wife Victoria and Hollywood pals Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were among the 98,000 fans cheering him on in the 3-1 victory over Real Mallorca.
Becks celebrated by taking sons Brooklyn, eight, Romeo, four, and Cruz, two, on the pitch for a farewell lap of honour.
The boys wore matching Real Madrid kits with David’s squad number 23 and the word ‘daddy’ on the back.
Although he limped out early on after an ankle injury played up, Becks declared: ‘This is the perfect ending.’
Who says fairy-tales don’t come true?
