Naomi Campbell settles abuse lawsuit

Former aide claimed she'd been assaulted

Naomi Campbell has settled an abuse lawsuit filed against her by a former aide who claimed she was physically and verbally abused by the hot-tempered supermodel.

Amanda Brack made the allegations of assault, battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress after the model reportedly smacked her with a BlackBerry, slapped her, ripped up her passport and pushed her around.

Manhattan's Supreme Court announced that 'the action has settled and been discontinued' although no details of the settlement have been disclosed.

Earlier this year, the 37-year-old model completed five days' community service after pleading guilty to throwing her phone at her former maid Ana Scolavino.
