Victoria Beckham TV show to air in July

Posh's six-part series will become a one-hour special

Victoria Beckham's reality show, originally planned as a six-part series, will air as a one-hour special in mid-July, NBC has announced.

Victoria Beckham: Coming to America will air Monday, July 16, and coincides with the Beckham family's move to Beverly Hills.

"Viewers will get a first-hand glimpse into what it's like to be one of the most sought-after celebrities in the world," NBC's Craig Plestis said Wednesday.

"Victoria's every move is documented by the paparazzi, but only our cameras have been allowed inside the world of what being Victoria Beckham is really like."

Insiders say the show highlights the 33-year-old's fun side and her self-deprecating sense of humor. To see clips – including one of Beckham struggling to get in a car while wearing a tight skirt – check out the VBTV videos on her Web site.

Victoria Beckham: Coming to America was crunched to an hour-long special partly because of a reduced filming schedule after David Beckham, 32, was recalled to play in the English national soccer team.

"Even though the format has changed a bit, Victoria is really happy with how it has worked out," says a friend. "It is a first for her – filming in America."

Shooting continued last weekend in West Hollywood when Beckham caught up with old pal Paul Sculfor – Jennifer Aniston's new beau. Days later she was filmed throwing the first pitch in Dodger Stadium.
