EastEnders star says she was never part of the cool gang

She's beautiful, talented and has now got her first big break as a Hollywood star, but Michelle Ryan insists she hasn't always been so popular.
'I was a complete geek at school,' she says. 'I was bullied in the lower school for sitting at the front and putting my hand up, always being enthusiastic and polite to teachers.'
The ex-EastEnders actress, 22 - who ditched the small screen to star in upcoming movie The Bionic Woman - prefers a quiet life and isn't a hell-raiser.
'I never was a huge drinker or a party person,' she tells The Guardian.
