Amy Winehouse's self harm shock

She cuts her flesh during a magazine interview

Amy Winehouse shocked reporters as she self-harmed during an interview with a US rock mag.

The Back To Black singer, 23, carved words into her skin, rushed back and forward to the toilets - and launched into four-letter rants.

The singer etched ‘I love Blake’ – referring to hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, 24 - into her stomach using a shard of broken mirror.

Troubled Amy admits that her sad behaviour is because doesn’t think much of herself.

‘I don’t care about any of this and I don’t have much of an opinion of myself,’ she says in the July edition of Spin magazine. ‘I don’t think people care about me.

‘I made an album I’m very proud of and that’s about it.’

Amy also reveals she writes songs to ease her troubles.

‘I write songs because I'm f***ed in the head and need to get something good out of something bad,' she says.

‘I thought, “I’m going to die if I don’t write down the way I feel. I’m going to do myself in.” It’s nothing spectacular.

'I'm not in this to be a ****ing role model.'
